As entrepreneurs, we often set our sights on ambitious revenue goals, dreaming of six and seven-figure businesses. But here’s the truth: Those lofty aspirations mean nothing without the proper infrastructure to support them. I recently had a major wake-up call that forced me to confront this reality in my own business, and I want to share that revelation with you.
Picture this: You’re cruising down the highway in a sports car, pedal to the metal, chasing after your dreams. But what happens when you realize your engine can’t handle the speed you’re pushing? That’s exactly where I found myself a few months ago.

The Epiphany that Changed Everything
I sat down with my revenue goals and took a hard look at my current streams of income. The math didn’t lie — I simply didn’t have the infrastructure to hit my targets. It was like trying to fill an Olympic-sized pool with a garden hose. Sure, water was flowing, but at that rate, I’d be gray and wrinkled before I saw results.
Here’s the kicker: To meet my goals with my existing setup, I would have needed to:
- Launch my high-ticket mastermind every single month
- Enroll eight women into the program each time
- Run multiple masterminds simultaneously, potentially juggling up to six at once
- Manage 50 clients in an intimate, high-touch setting
This was absolutely not sustainable, especially when I wanted to reach seven figures. This realization was both humbling and liberating. It forced me to acknowledge that I hadn’t done the necessary groundwork to support my goals and dreams.
The Reality Check: Big Dreams Need Solid Foundations
Now, I’m all for dreaming big. But here’s the thing: without the right pathways for results to materialize, those dreams remain just that… dreams.
I needed to find a way to bridge the gap between my dreams and the reality I wanted to create.
Bridging the Gap: From Dream to Reality
So, what is the solution? Building the infrastructure needed to sustain my success. It’s not the sexiest part of owning a business, but it’s a necessary piece. Here’s what I’m doing to practice what I preach:
- Launching 10 new revenue streams by the end of the year
- Reopening my mastermind for fall enrollment
- Creating multiple pathways for clients to work with me
Remember, it’s not just about the money. It’s about creating the capacity to make a bigger impact and help more people achieve their own goals.
Are you ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building a business that can truly support your dreams? What’s one step you’re going to take this week to strengthen your business infrastructure?
